How does the tee-time exchange work?
When you can't make a tee time, you list it in the Birvix exchange. Another verified golfer picks it up and takes your slot — you get reimbursed, they get a tee time, the course keeps the booking. No cancellations, no wasted rounds.
Is the peer-review system anonymous?
Reviews are aggregated and scored, not attributed. Your overall rating is visible to potential playing partners, but no individual review is traceable back to a specific player.
How does handicap fraud detection work?
Birvix compares your peer-reviewed on-course performance against your posted USGA handicap index. Consistent over-performance versus your posted index triggers a flag for review — it doesn't automatically penalize you.
Do golf courses have to be partners?
No. The tee-time exchange works with any course. Partner courses get access to Birvix's verified player network for premium tee-time allocations — but golfers can use the platform at any course.
